It’s moving day and the guys can’t get enough of the idea they’ve finally got their own house.

SHSVS, Special Treat Week
Short Story
![]()
Starsky pulled into the driveway and took his foot off the accelerator. He caught Hutch tilting his head, giving him a questioning look. Starsky smiled slightly, still looking straight ahead. “Wanna take my time. Enjoy this.”
Hutch chuckled.
The car rolled forward down the long drive, moving slowly. It was a bright, sunny day, even if it was December, and the sun was dancing through the trees that lined the driveway on either side. The drive would curve in another few feet, and Starsky looked ahead in anticipation.
Hutch spotted it before he did and sucked in a breath at the sight of their house. Starsky grinned, understanding completely. It wasn’t like this was the first time they had seen the property, but it was the first time they’d seen it as owners, the paperwork done, the deed filed, the keys in their hands.
“Oh, man,” Hutch whispered.
Starsky’s grin got wider.
The driveway widened slightly as they pulled closer to the house. Starsky let the car roll past the front and around toward the back. “Gotta make room for the mover’s truck.”
Hutch nodded even as he craned his head to look out the window at the second story. “It’s beautiful.”
Starsky had to laugh out loud at that, because it wasn’t beautiful. It was painted a hideous color they called “Caucasian.”
Hutch flashed him a heart-stopping grin. “Beautiful because it belongs to us. Right?”
“Right.”
The car rolled farther down the driveway, past the attached greenhouse, past the walled garden to stop in front of the carriage house that was now a garage. Their garage. Throwing the Torino in park, Starsky shut off the engine and then gave the trees surrounding them a good look. “You think he’s around?”
“Hard to say.” Hutch got out of the car. “Nervous?”
“Nah.” Starsky got out of the car, but couldn’t help looking over his shoulder. “Well, maybe a little.”
“He didn’t mean to startle you the last time we were here.” Hutch wrestled a box out of the trunk of the car.
“He jumped out from behind a tree.” Starsky scowled as he grabbed two suitcases. “He’s spooky.” He kept his voice down, in case the guy was listening.
“He’s not ‘spooky.’ He’s just an old man who was the caretaker for the former owners. “Remember what he said?” Hutch started for the garden gate.
“‘I’s keeps myself to myself’.” Starsky followed Hutch. “That’s not spooky? I’m just grateful he has that cottage at the other end of the property.”
Hutch didn’t reply as he juggled the box and opened the gate. They entered the walled garden and paused for just a moment, caught in the magic.
The area wasn’t very big, just enough for a small group of friends to gather. But it was lovely, overgrown with a tangle of greenery from flowers and plants run wild. Even the trees seemed to lean down to shield the area, giving it a real sense of sheltered peace. On the cobblestone patio area there was a stone bench, perfect for reading, resting, or maybe some other more adult activities. The cobblestones formed a path that led to the back of the greenhouse.
In the opposite wall was another gate. Hutch set his box down and headed that way, giving Starsky a grin. Starsky dropped the bags and followed.
The gate squeaked slightly as Hutch pushed it out, and they both followed the worn path through the trees until they could see the lake. Hutch stopped, still in the shelter of the greenery, and pulled Starsky into his arms. Starsky sank into their warmth and strength, and laid his head against Hutch’s chest. Hutch rested his head on top of Starsky’s for a moment. “Look at that.”
The water sparkled under the sunlight, and Starsky lifted his head to take in the view. It was so damned nice, and he could feel Hutch’s pleasure in the relaxed muscles under his hands and in his lover’s easy stance.
“Hey, look.” Hutch pointed at a small rowboat. “There’s Charlie.”
Sure enough, Starsky could just make out the caretaker in a rowboat, casting a line into the water. He chuckled, feeling a bit easier knowing the guy wasn’t lurking around. Hutch laughed and dropped his voice. “What’s the matter? Worried about Peeping Toms? He might get a real eyeful.”
Starsky reared back, frowning, but then grinned to see his golden Hutch throw his head back and laugh. Standing in the dappled sunlight of their new property, about to enter their home for the first time…
On impulse he bent down and with a twist, scooped Hutch up and over his shoulder. Hutch squawked in surprise, but Starsky didn’t give him time to do much more. He quickly moved up the path and managed to get Hutch through the gate before the blond could get his breath or balance.
“What are you doing?”
“It’s a tradition.” Starsky laughed breathlessly, heading for the door of the greenhouse. “Carrying your lover over the threshold.”
“Hey!” Hutch clutched at Starsky’s shirt, trying to get leverage, but Starsky had a tight grip on his legs and prevented that move. “That’s a bride, you fool.”
“So, my lovely?” Starsky snickered.
The problem was he had to get them through the door of the greenhouse before they got to the side door that led into the kitchen. Hutch managed to grab the doorjamb and in the tussle, wiggle free, but not before Starsky got him into the greenhouse. Satisfied, Starsky danced off a ways, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet. Hutch laughed and made a lunge at him, but Starsky danced away.
Hutch pulled up short. “Is that the truck?”
Starsky fell for it and turned his head, giving Hutch the opportunity he needed. Hutch rushed Starsky and, with all the grace of a linebacker, tucked his shoulder into Starsky’s stomach, heaved him over his shoulder, and they both spilled into the kitchen–and onto the kitchen floor.
They lay there sprawled on their backs, laughing, catching their breath, until they both noticed their surroundings.
The kitchen hadn’t been updated since the fifties and had all white cupboards and long counters. But what caught their attention was the sunlight spilling into the breakfast nook and the entire kitchen, making it glow. The high ceiling seemed to reflect the warmth back into the room.
“Ours,” Starsky said softly.
“All ours,” Hutch confirmed.
Starsky moved to pull Hutch into a long, deep kiss.

It didn’t take long to unpack the car, since most of what was left of their stuff was on the truck Huggy had borrowed from a “cousin.” They left what they had on the stairs, figuring to take it upstairs later.
As one, they moved into the living room, admiring the large space–the fireplace at one end, the empty bookshelves that lined one wall. There were two overstuffed chairs by the big fireplace, that had come with the house. Otherwise, the room was empty.

Starsky gazed in wonder. Arms came around his middle and lips nuzzled his neck. He shivered when a moist tongue licked his ear. He sighed contentedly and leaned back against the solid chest behind him, tilting his head to allow better access.
“It’s almost hard to believe that we’ve done it,” Starsky said softly. “We own a home–together.”
“Mm hmm,” Hutch murmured, still paying homage to Starsky’s ear.
Starsky shivered as that tongue left a wet trail down the side of his neck. Lips pushed aside the collar of his shirt, and teeth gently grazed his shoulder.
“I’ve heard there’s a tradition new home owners should perform,” Hutch breathed, now blowing softly over the moist skin.
“Oh,” Starsky gasped. “What’s that?”
“Every room must be initiated.”
“H-how?”
A hand cupped his groin and gently squeezed the hardness there. Starsky’s knees nearly buckled and he moaned loudly. Hutch’s other arm held him upright while his hand continued to cup and squeeze.
“H–” Starsky swallowed. “Huggy an’ the others will be here soon.”
“Shh,” Hutch murmured.
Starsky wanted to protest, but he was putty in Hutch’s hands, and his partner knew it. Long, nimble fingers opened his fly and slid their way inside his jeans. A fingernail grazed the tip of his rapidly filling organ, and he trembled. Hutch’s arm held him firmly around the middle, while his jeans were worked past his hips. His cock bobbed free, but only for a moment. Hutch’s hand wrapped around it as teeth sank into his shoulder. Starsky shouted and bucked into the hold, whimpering and moaning. Something warm and smooth slid between his ass cheeks, and he went nearly wild, realizing it was Hutch’s own hardness. He didn’t know when or how Hutch had freed his own cock, and he didn’t care. He was lost in the sensory overload of Hutch pleasuring him and taking his own.
Starsky jerked his hips back and forth, pushing into the fist holding him, and sliding over the rod behind him. Hutch rimmed his ear with his tongue, hot breath ghosting over the wetness, making Starsky shiver. The hot, moist tip dipped into the canal, and Starsky shuddered and groaned loudly as his release swept over him. Sudden warmth splashed his back and trickled between his cheeks, and Starsky only barely made the connection that Hutch had come, too. If it weren’t for Hutch’s arm still around his middle, he would have slipped to the floor in a boneless heap. As it was, it was looking like that might be a distinct possibility anyway.
It was several minutes before Starsky found his voice. “Wow,” he breathed.
Hutch chuckled softly, his breath ghosting over Starsky’s ear again, sending tingles down his spine. “Welcome to your new home.”
Starsky craned his head around and managed to capture Hutch’s mouth in a kiss. “And what a wonderful welcome it was, too. I’ll have to think of some way to return the favor.”
Hutch smiled and drew away reluctantly.
By silent and mutual agreement they cleaned themselves up and prepared for their friends’ imminent arrival to help on moving day. Every now and then, they shared a secret look, and Starsky would find himself tingling all the way to his toes from the loving Hutch had snuck on him earlier. He’d just grin and dance to the next task.

Hutch had the front door open and was standing on the porch as Dobey’s car came up the drive, followed by Arturo’s. There was a lot of happy shouting as the two families spilled out, the kids laughing as they raced between the adults.
Starsky watched carefully from the bottom of the porch steps as Dobey maneuvered out of the car and onto his crutches. “How’s it going?”
“Fine.” Dobey puffed a bit as he hobbled away from the car. “These things are a pain.”
Hutch had gone to Arturo’s car as soon as it stopped, and now he came up to Starsky and Dobey, carrying little Kenny. “How’s the leg?”
“Fine,” chorused Dobey and Starsky.
Kenny was looking at Dobey’s cast, wide-eyed. He pulled his finger from his mouth and pointed. “Boo-boo.”
Hutch flashed a smile. “That’s right, kid. Big boo-boo.”
Edith came around the front of the car, carrying a covered dish. “Actually, he’s doing well for having been hit by a car. Lord knows it could have been worse.”
Hutch gave Starsky a glance, and he could tell they were both thinking of the arsonist that had shot Lizzie and run Dobey down just a few weeks ago.
Dobey snorted, heading for the porch steps. “It was a glancing blow. I know how to roll with a punch, damn it.”
“Ahem.” Carolyn stood there, with two dishes in her hand and one eyebrow arched. Alicia stood next to her, carefully clutching a bowl in both hands. Arturo was behind her, with a box that looked filled to the brim, grinning at Dobey’s discomfort.
“Looks like enough food to feed the Fifth Army.” Hutch winced as Kenny grabbed at his hair.
“You boys will work up an appetite unloading the truck.” Carolyn started toward the steps. “Show us where the kitchen is, and we can set these things in there first. I want the grand tour before you start working.”
The crunch of gravel had them all turning to see an unfamiliar car pull into the driveway and park behind Arturo’s car. Starsky recognized Lizzie in the passenger seat, her daughter waving at them from the back. It was only when the driver emerged that Starsky recognized him. “O’Leary?”
Arturo was standing nearby and shrugged. “The guy’s been calling Lizzie, and they’ve had a few lunch dates.”
“The fire chief? She’s dating the fire chief?” Starsky felt a bit taken aback.
“She needs your approval?” Dobey asked. The others chuckled slightly.
Starsky shrugged. “Well, no, but–”
“Hi, everybody.” Lizzie emerged from the car, still wearing her sling. “Everyone, you remember Mike O’Leary? From the arson case?”
Greetings were exchanged as the big man met the rest of the group gathered on the front porch. A lot of laughter was shared as even more food and two coolers of beverages were unloaded from Mike’s car. Lizzie’s daughter, Lori, had a plate of cookies in her hands and insisted she could carry it into the house with no help from an adult.
The group moved through the front door, and Starsky was gratified to hear the ooh’s and ah’s over the hardwood floors and wood trim. He guided the women into the kitchen, where they placed their various dishes on the counters. He was expecting the same kind of positive comments about the kitchen, but instead was greeted with solemn faces.
“You don’t like it?” he asked.
All three women looked at him. Carolyn frowned. “You’re moving in without cleaning first?”
“We cleaned,” Starsky protested.
Lizzie ran a finger over a shelf and held up the dust for him to see. “You call this clean?” She had that same look on her face she used for suspects.
“Uh…”
“Out.” Edith made shooing motions with her hand. “The tour will have to wait. We’ll handle this.”
Lori put the plate safely on the table, then turned and crossed her arms over her chest, giving Starsky a disapproving look. “Men.”
Alicia nodded her head in agreement, and parroted Lori’s action. “Men.”
Their laughter chased Starsky out of the kitchen.

“I thought we were moving you in today?” Mike O’Leary stood in the living room and looked around at the furniture already in place.
“This is the stuff that came with the house,” Hutch explained. “The estate and the park removed what they thought they could sell, but they left the rest. They made sure we understood that we were buying the house and its contents. Starsky and I figure since we lost all his stuff in the fire, we’d use it for now and replace it gradually.”
Dobey hobbled over and sank into the overstuffed chair by the fireplace. “Makes good sense.”
Arturo nodded his agreement and put Kenny on the floor. The little boy instantly started to crawl toward the fireplace. His dad sighed. “I’d forgotten what headaches they can be once they start moving.”
“Just wait until he starts walking,” Dobey commented.
“Or driving,” O’Leary added.
They were laughing when Starsky walked in. “The women have taken over the kitchen, and they’re talking about cleaning it before they do anything else.”
“I thought it looked okay,” Hutch said.
Starsky shrugged. “I told you we needed to clean it better.”
Arturo swept Kenny off the floor, lifting the giggling boy to his shoulder. “So, how about that tour?”
“You’re on your own.” Dobey settled back in the chair and eased his leg out. “I’m going to plant myself for a while.”
![]()
They left the house and began their tour at the large carriage house out back.
“Makes a great garage.” Arturo admired the space.
“Yeah, but look at this.” Starsky led them to a small staircase that went up into the old servants’ quarters. The men found themselves in a small apartment, with a tiny kitchen and bedroom, and a large living space in the center.
“Nice.” O’Leary admired the large windows that let the light spill into the room. “You could even rent this out for some extra money.”
Hutch laughed. “We had the same thought, except the plumbing isn’t working, and it needs to be re-wired.”
“Maybe after you fix things up,” Arturo said, shifting Kenny in his arms. “Although it looks like you have quite a bit of work ahead of you.”
“Yeah, we gotta paint first.” Starsky led the way back down the stairs. “The house needs it bad.”
“Gonna try to do it yourself?” O’Leary asked.
“We’re thinking about it.” Hutch led the way to the walled garden. “We’d save money that way.”
“Let me know. I got a ladder truck and some buddies that’ll work for beer and burgers.”
Starsky exchanged a glance with Hutch, who exchanged a glance with Arturo. Arturo spoke up. “Sounds like you plan to be around for a while.”
O’Leary stopped and turned to face all three. “Cards on the table, guys. I’m interested in Lizzie. Seriously interested. I think Lizzie’s thinking along the same lines. A bit too soon to tell, but I know that you’re all close.” He gave them a long look. “Is this a problem?”
Starsky and Hutch shrugged. Arturo spoke up. “As long as she’s happy.”
“Figured I’d have to court her, her daughter, her family, her partner, the closest things she’s got to brothers, and her captain.” O’Leary gave them all a nod and a grin. “Lucky for me, I love a challenge.” He looked around the walled area. “This is nice. Gonna get a grill for out here?”

The horn announced Huggy’s arrival long before they saw the truck coming up the drive. Everyone came out to greet him as he jumped from the driver’s seat.
They got the doors opened, and everyone paused briefly to look at the contents. Hutch had to sigh. It was pitiful to see their lives reduced to cardboard boxes and a few pieces of furniture, even more pitiful due to the fact that nothing in Starsky’s place had survived. But the sight of his healthy, happy partner pulling himself into the back of the truck loosened the knot in Hutch’s stomach. Not to mention Lizzie, laughing at something O’Leary had just said. Or Dobey, hobbling out onto the porch with his crutches, claiming he was “supervising.”
Everything that was important was here. Maybe not in a box, or on the truck, but it was here.
![]()
The boxes moved fast, since they were all marked with their destination. Starsky had made Hutch a bit crazy while they’d packed, since he insisted the boxes be labeled. But Hutch had to admit the extra work was paying off now.
Finally, they got toward the back of the truck, and Hutch grinned to see one of the early Christmas presents they had bought themselves.
O’Leary looked into the truck. “Wow. That’s huge. Where does it go?”
Hutch climbed into the back. “Starsky’s room.”
O’Leary climbed in as well. “Where’s yours? I seem to remember that yours burned up as well.”
“Show you when we get up there.”
They each grabbed an end and hefted the headboard. O’Leary grunted as they eased the piece from the truck and up the stairs. Hutch grunted as well. It was heavy, but worth every penny.
Once they were at the top of the stairs, O’Leary set his end down. “Need a break.”
Hutch followed suit. “Not much farther. Starsky’s bedroom is to the left.”
Mike nodded, rolled his shoulders, and they picked it up again, guiding it carefully into the bedroom and leaning it against one wall. They both rubbed their backs once it was down. Hutch gestured for Mike to follow and headed toward the “master” bedroom.
“Wow.” O’Leary stopped in the doorway, his mouth hanging open.
Hutch just grinned. That had been his and Starsky’s reaction when they’d first seen the four-poster bed left in the bedroom. It was huge, ornately carved mahogany, with a mattress on box springs in place. It was raised off the floor, and there was a high box canopy over the top.
O’Leary walked around the bed, admiring it. “I’m damn glad we aren’t trying to move that sucker.”
Hutch laughed. “We think that’s why it got left behind. The whole thing was wrapped in dust covers the first time we saw it.”
CRASH!
Hutch and O’Leary winced.
![]()
“I’m so jealous.”
Hutch turned to look at Carolyn standing in the door of Starsky’s bedroom, watching the four men trying to set up the bed. “Jealous?”
Carolyn sighed. “Hardwood floors, the size of the rooms, that old claw-foot bathtub up here, and the bathroom down on the first floor. And that mahogany bed.”
Hutch and Starsky grinned at her. Arturo just grunted as he and O’Leary tried to get the headboard and footboard in position.
Carolyn showed them the sheets in her arms. “We found a linen closet full of sheets. They’re clean, so we’re going to make up the beds.”
“Sure,” Starsky said. Hutch nodded, shrugging mentally. He’d just remake the bed after their guests left–with the other Christmas present they had already bought for themselves.
“You guys don’t help put this bed together,” Arturo growled, “Starsky’s gonna sleep on the floor.”

“There’s an attic?” Arturo was looking up into the hallway that led past Starsky’s bedroom to the back stairs.
“Oh, yeah.” Starsky jumped up and grabbed the cord dangling from the ceiling. The drop-down ladder unfolded, and Starsky made a sweeping gesture. “Take a look.”
Arturo went up enough to stick his head and shoulders above the ceiling. “Madre de Dios!”
“What?” asked O’Leary as he came out of the bathroom.
“The attic is full of stuff! You can’t get past the first step of the ladder!”
Starsky laughed. “Yeah, it was a shock when we found it.”
“Kind of a fire hazard.” Mike craned his neck, looking up. “Might want to get it cleaned.”
Starsky nodded.
“Hey, there’s a box here marked “Christmas.” Want me to grab it?”
Starsky looked up. “Hey, yeah, that’d be great.” Not much of their decorations had survived.
Arturo handed down the box. “There’s something else, Starsky. Did you get a good look up here yet?”
“Not really.”
Arturo descended the stairs. “Get up there and look toward the small window at the end of the attic.”
Starsky climbed the stairs. The place was crammed with furniture and boxes. He sneezed hard, then looked toward the window. “What am I looking at?”
“Is that a ship’s model I see down there?”
Starsky’s eyes widened as he caught a glimpse of the ship, sailing the dusty seas of the attic down by the window. “Wow.” He squinted, trying to get a better look. Was the sun glinting off brass cannons?
“Come on, guys!” Hutch’s voice echoed from the first floor. “Lunch is ready!”

As they gathered around, they fit easily at the dining room table. Huggy and Dobey were reaching for the bread when Carolyn cleared her throat. “Alicia, why don’t you say grace?”
The little girl curled her fingers and bowed her head. Everyone followed suit.
“A, b, c…” the little girl sang softly.
The adults tried desperately to suppress their laughter, as Lori interrupted. “No, that’s the alphabet. You wanna say ‘God is good’–”
Alicia nodded vigorously, then bowed her head again. “God is good. God is great. We tank you for our daily food. Amen.”
“Amen,” echoed from everyone followed by laughter as they dug in.
![]()
It was almost dark when everyone finally piled into their cars and pulled out of the driveway, after much hugging and cries of “Merry Christmas.”
Hutch and Starsky stood on the front porch and waved as the last car disappeared.
Hutch was still waving when he spoke. “I’ll break out the satin sheets and remake the bed, if you start a fire in the fireplace.”
“Deal.”
![]()
Starsky danced into the living room, carrying a tray of fruit, a bottle, and two glasses. He smiled again at the sight of the fireplace. After they’d brought down all those old Christmas decorations from the attic, the girls had immediately made plans for them. The result was a fully decked-out mantle, with Mr. and Mrs. Claus ceramic figurines in the center, and six small Santa Claus hot toddy cups arranged on either side. They’d snagged some evergreen branches from the trimmings Charlie had piled next to the carriage house, and arranged them over the mantle and down either side. The room was fragrant with them. The girls had even found a working set of Christmas lights and strung them in and around the greenery.
Starsky knelt and set his handful down next to the raised hearth, then turned his attention to starting a fire in the fireplace. It wasn’t long before it was burning brightly and casting warmth into the room. He stretched out and got comfortable, leaning back against the hearth. He picked up the bottle, unwrapped the foil at the top, and worked the wire twist free. Gently, steadily, he worked the cork until it came out with a soft pop. Humming under his breath, he poured the sparkling liquid into the two glasses and set the bottle down next to the tray. He looked up just as he lifted one of the glasses. He smiled.
“Hey,” he said softly, holding out the other glass to Hutch as he approached. “Look what I found in the fridge.”
Hutch snorted softly, accepting the glass and settling down beside him. “Champagne? From who?”
“Huggy. He must’ve snuck it into the fridge when we were otherwise occupied.”
Hutch chuckled again and took a sip. “Mmm, not bad.”
Starsky grinned, mirroring Hutch’s actions. “Yep, smooth and bubbly at the same time.” Starsky picked up a piece of pear and held it up. Hutch held his gaze as he leaned forward and plucked the piece of fruit from Starsky’s fingers.
“Excellent combination. Pears and champagne, with a hint of Starsky.”
Starsky laughed softly. When Hutch held out a piece of fruit, Starsky gently sucked the pear from Hutch’s fingers, making sure to clean off all the juice. He was satisfied when Hutch drew in his breath sharply.
They interspersed kisses with feeding each other pieces of pear and sipping champagne. Soon the fruit was gone. Hutch took a sip of champagne, then hooked a hand around Starsky’s neck, drawing him in for a champagne-filled kiss. Their tongues twisted and twined, delving deep into each other’s mouths, lapping up the last traces of wine.
“Mmm, I could get drunk on you, you know that?” Starsky said.
“So could I, partner, so could I.”
“Love you.”
“You, too.”
Starsky latched on to Hutch’s mouth for one more deep kiss. Finally, he let the kiss end, though their lips remained just millimeters apart. “Why don’t you go on to the bedroom? I’ll put this stuff away and check the locks and join you in a few.”
Hutch drew back enough to meet Starsky’s gaze. Starsky licked his lips, smiling when Hutch’s eyes fastened on them.
“Got plans for you, Blondie.”
“P-plans?”
“Yeah.”
“O-okay.”
Starsky watched with veiled amusement as Hutch reluctantly climbed to his feet. He made shooing motions at his partner when Hutch stopped and looked back.
“Go on. I won’t be long. Promise.”
Hutch nodded and disappeared down the hall.
Starsky bounced to his feet and made quick work of the cleanup. He was humming again as he stopped in the bathroom. He stripped, took care of some ablutions, and slipped into his robe. One final glance in the mirror made him grin. Even he’d admit he was glowing–with happiness.
![]()
Starsky quietly entered the bedroom and stopped at the vision that met his eyes. A golden-haired Adonis lay naked on the massive wooden bed, the white satin sheet the only thing covering him. The glow of candlelight was the only light in the room and added to the illusion. Starsky caught his breath.
Hutch smiled tenderly and held out a hand in invitation.
Heart suddenly hammering, Starsky slowly approached the foot of the bed, gradually untying his robe. He shrugged it from his shoulders and let it fall to the floor just as he reached the bed. He stood there, staring at Hutch, letting him look his fill, basking in the love and desire he saw on his lover’s face. When their eyes met, Starsky eased onto the bed, moving on hands and knees, straddling Hutch, crawling up the length of that long body. As he lowered his head to claim Hutch’s waiting mouth, Hutch’s arms embraced him and pulled him down atop him. Starsky kissed and nibbled, licked and kissed, working his way from those inviting lips to the aquiline nose, over his eyelids and over the strong jaw and chin.
Hutch was soon panting, soft moans escaping him. His hands skimmed over and kneaded Starsky’s back, as Starsky made his way down the column of Hutch’s throat. He licked and sucked gently at every exposed patch of skin. The sheet slowly slid away as Starsky made his worshipful assault, finally exposing the ultimate prize. He smiled upon seeing that long, hard column of flesh. He dropped a light kiss on the tip, eliciting a groaning hiss from Hutch. Starsky only smiled wider. He delved delicately into the slit with the point of his tongue, lapping at the clear fluid beading there. Hutch gasped and moaned.
“Starsky,” Hutch breathed.
Without moving his head, Starsky met Hutch’s passion-darkened eyes. Holding that gaze, Starsky opened his mouth wide and, slowly, ever so slowly, descended over the silky, rock-hard organ. Hutch groaned long and low, his hips trying to buck, but Starsky held him fast. Starsky kept his movements slow and sensuous as he sucked and bobbed over Hutch’s erection. He fondled Hutch’s balls with one hand, and just as he felt them draw up, he plunged a finger inside. Hutch shouted and Starsky quickly drew away, watching avidly as Hutch bucked on his finger while his seed erupted in thick streams. Starsky gathered up the slick substance and skillfully opened Hutch. Starsky placed the tip of his penis to Hutch’s opening and waited.
Still breathing heavily, Hutch opened his eyes and looked up at Starsky with a dreamy smile. Starsky returned the gesture and slid inside Hutch’s welcoming body. Hutch’s arms and legs wrapped around him, drawing him deeper.
“Yesss,” Hutch moaned softly, passionately, undulating his hips, encouraging Starsky to move.
Starsky was more than happy to oblige, rocking slowly, gently, remaining deep for several blissful moments. Gradually, his strokes lengthened. His speed picked up. Hutch was still sated from his earlier release, yet managed to stay in rhythm with him, as he always did. Hutch drew Starsky’s head down with one hand and plunged his tongue into his mouth, simultaneously breaching him with a long finger.
Starsky surged forward, groaning as his release boiled out of him, deep into his lover’s body. Finally, he collapsed. Hutch caught him, held him close, and eased them to their sides. Starsky lay boneless, eyes closed, savoring the man beside him and their most recent lovemaking. After a moment, he cracked open his eyes and smiled into the smiling face of his lover. He rose up enough to kiss Hutch.
“Our first night in our new bed, in our new home. It had to be special.”
Hutch nodded slightly, gazing raptly at him, then leaned forward and kissed him. “It was, partner. It most definitely was,” Hutch said softly.
No further words passed between them. None were necessary. They drifted to sleep, basking in their love, in the rightness of that love, and in the contentment of this new chapter in their lives.
